The Balance PC software helps you maintain your blood glucose control, while helping you meet the specific goals that you have set. When you start the program for the first time, it asks for a login name, because most people want their data to be private, and up to eight people can use the same software. After the login name is entered, it gives you a short interview that asks for your weight, cholesterol, blood pressure, last HbA1c test, etc. After filling all this information in, it asks you if you are happy with your weight, cholesterol, etc., if not, you can say "no" and type in your desired weight, cholesterol reading, etc., and it will tell you how long it will take and what to do to meet this goal.
