Q. Who runs this website?
A. This website was created and is maintained by Allison Blass, a seventeen year old high school senior and diabetic from Oregon.

Q. Why was this website made?
A. This website was created with the goal of giving hope and education to diabetics of all over the world, with news, articles and interviews relating to advocacy, research and the Cure.

Q. Is there a CureNow mailing list?
A. Yes, send a blank e-mail to Curenow03@aol.com, and you will automatically be added to the mailing list.

Q. How old is this website? When was it created?
A. As of August 12, 2002, CureNow is 10 months old. The website debuted on the web on October 2, 2001.

Q. Can I use any material from this website?
A. Please ask first. It should be fine, but certain things [like interviews] are property of CureNow.

Q. Can I help with the website?
A. Absolutly! If you have an idea you'd like to share, feel free to e-mail it. Also, if you know someone who would make a good candidate for an interview, please let us know.

A. No, this website is an independent organization not affiliated with any other organization, website, or person.

Q. Will this website ever have news on Type 2 diabetes?
A. Although Type 2 diabetes accounts for the majority of diabetics, we feel that there is enough coverage on Type 2 diabetes in the media and on the interet that it is not necessary for us to duplicate that information here. CureNow is dedicated to finding a cure, which is important for all diabetics, but articles on nutrition and fitnesss will not be included.

Q. How often is this website updated?
A. CureNow is updated the first weekend of the month and has the following tentative updating schedule: September, October, November, February 2003, March 2003.
